We will not use the content you post to the Service to create advertising profiles or to target personalized advertisements at you.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

With your invited family members — limited to the family tree content you choose to share with them
With service providers — hosting, infrastructure, backup, email and security providers who process data solely on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements
For legal compliance — when required by law, regulation, legal process or governmental authority
To protect rights and safety — to protect the rights, safety and property of users, MJT Multi Services LLC or others

4. Family Tree Invitations & Living Persons

When you invite a family member to view your family tree, we send an invitation email to the address you provide. Invitations may only be extended to living individuals. By sending an invitation, you represent that:

The recipient is a living member of your family
You have an appropriate basis to share their personal information
You have obtained any required consent from the recipient

You are responsible for ensuring that all personal information you add about living people is accurate, appropriate and consented to where required. If you are a living person whose information appears in a family tree without your permission, you may contact us to request removal.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies to enable sign-in and remember your preferences. We may also use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that collect aggregated usage data. These tools may set their own cookies. We do not share your family tree content with third-party analytics providers.

You may disable cookies in your browser settings; however, some features of the Service may not function correctly without them.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Personal information may be stored in the United States, the United Kingdom or the European Union. However, no Internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.

7. Download Policy

You have the right to download a copy of the family tree content you have uploaded to the Service. Downloads are subject to the following conditions:

Downloaded content may be stored, published, archived and backed up solely for personal, non-commercial use
Downloaded content must not be shared publicly or redistributed without the consent of all persons named therein
Special care must be taken when downloaded files contain information about living individuals, particularly children
Downloaded files remain subject to applicable privacy laws, including laws of your country of residence
You acknowledge that once content is downloaded it may remain outside our control, and we bear no responsibility for how you store or use it after download

To request a full export of your data, please contact us using the subject "Data Export Request". We aim to fulfill verified requests within 30 days.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion:

Your account and profile information will be removed from the Service
Family tree content will be deleted, subject to any retention required for legal compliance
Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being permanently overwritten
Content that has been downloaded or shared by invited family members may remain outside our control

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by persons under 14 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 14. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately for removal.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
Deletion — Request deletion of your personal information
